This gallery contains mainly intimate landscape photos. This type of photography has also been called small scale landscape. The genre depicts the landscape on a smaller scale that brings a scene closer to the viewer compared to grand vistas. I like how the framing and intimacy of this type of photography mirrors the way that I , and many others, engage with the natural world most of the time. It also encourages us to slow down and notice the smaller things around us.
